Among the forty children's music and art schools of the Republic Music School № 2 is known as one of the best. This is particularly proud of BJ Blenaova, the first director of the school, which quickly managed to solve a very urgent problem for the time training professional harmonica.
Collective Music School № 2 (here and now employs 43 teachers and 24 Pooh-Bah) cares about the continuity of all the best that has been developed by over half a century of existence the school. This task is facilitated by the fact that the second and third generation of teachers - the former music school graduates.

- More trouble - says M. Osmanova - gives students preparing for competitions, not only intraschool, but also national and regional scale (although the last two apply only to the most gifted children). And give them a lot: the teachers - especially in terms of sharing experience and best for our students - a kind of springboard from which they can get to the big stage. And the way there is long and thorny. Suffice it to say that a professional musician (and in school preparing for a 10-music specialties) can be only before finalizing at least 14-16 years. The next step after the music school - School of Music, then - Conservatory, Graduate School. Of course, the teachers followed the subsequent fate of his pupils, and among them are eminent, and they are many. But most of all they are concerned about short-term problems, which today is not such as they were in the 60's, when one after another in the Republic opened the new Music School.
Music Schools now experiencing difficulties in recruiting students already. There was in this sense, the exception and Music School № 2.

In the school year ended, and our other students become active participants in several prestigious competitions. So, S. Hagova I took place in the XI open competition for young musicians of the South Russia (the teacher SN moles). In the framework of international training courses on the basis of music school № 2 master-class held a professor Petersburg Conservatory LF Tamulevich and teacher Gnessin Academy, winner of international competitions V. Domogatskii. For us it was a great honor.
Speaking about the achievements of the school, somehow forget about the difficulties of its existence: this is not easy to update the musical instruments, replenish library music literature. Yet in these circumstances Music School № 2 expanded the boundaries of its activities, organizing branches in five urban middle schools. In general schedule put musical objects on the program of music school. The effect of these huge classes - students of these schools continuing the winners of competitions, which holds the Ministry of Education and Science of the CBD.
